ARTIST.CHEF.FOODIE.

This is food turned all the way up. CharlieMac uses thick paint, explosive color, and raw texture to create abstract takes on burgers and other craveable classics. His work lives somewhere between messy and deliberate, pulling inspiration from food, pop culture, and pure instinct. It’s loud, tactile, and impossible to ignore, just like CharlieMac.

Texture you can almost taste.

CharlieMac's work explores the intersection of consumption and visual culture through richly textured, abstracted depictions of iconic foods. Using saturated color and layered material, the artist transforms familiar forms into immersive, tactile compositions. The work invites viewers to reconsider the aesthetics of indulgence, and blurs the line between appetite, memory, and visual pleasure

Meet CharlieMac

I’m Charliemac. Artist, chef, and lifelong creative. My work has always lived at the intersection of the kitchen and the canvas, and these paintings are my way of honoring the role food has played in my life.

As a chef, I’ve spent years crafting culinary art, so translating that experience into abstract food-inspired pieces feels like a natural evolution. Each work reflects that background—layered, expressive, and full of character.

Some pieces lean into decadence, while others are vibrant and playfully designed to bring energy, color, and personality into your space.

Many of my paintings are built through multiple layers, occasionally incorporating real kitchen seasonings to add texture and depth, creating a subtle connection between the visual and the sensory.

If you’re interested in a custom piece inspired by this style, feel free to reach out—I’d be happy to explore something unique for you.
